    Spring Session 2008

    Mardi Gras Weekend
    As campers arrive at camp for Mardi Gras weekend, they begin making paper chain links as a decoration for the dance later that evening
    At the dance, camp counselor Amy presents the campers, including Kate, with beads in a Mardi Gras inspired outfit
    Shana also shows off her beads and excitement for the weekend’s fun and promising them
    Amon gives campers a lesson in Floor Hockey, teaching them how to handle the stick and pass the ball
    John successfully takes a turn at swinging his stick and passing the ball back to Amon as other campers do the same with a partner
    Campers are also encouraged to take a shot at the goal, as Nicole takes a swing with her stick
    The campers take a lesson in cutting up vegetables for a yummy Jambalaya, a popular New Orlean’s inspired dish, that would later be enjoyed for dinner

    The campers engaged in making their own Mardi Gras masks to take home and enjoy by picking out feathers and beads
