was started in 1985 to develop
work skills and provide employment
opportunities for people who were
moving from an institution to new
homes in nearby towns. Landscaping
and outdoor maintenance jobs provided
these people with real work and
real wages for the first time in
their lives.

in community-based jobs.

on each person's accomplishments,
needs, and what they want in
