Hello Everybody!
Summer Camp 2002 is officially underway. Staff from all
over the world met their first session campers yesterday
on Sunday June 23, 2002 and I'm struck with amount of
positive energy in the air.
Psyched from a week of world class orientation presented
by experts in the field of mental handicaps, staff eagerly
met campers and their families on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Today campers are eagerly jumping into all the
activities. Colorful banners decorate the outside of
cabins and many are personalized with greetings in several
languages. Everywhere you look campers are proudly sporting
this years Camp Horizons T-shirt and talking about what
they are going to do, who they can't wait to see and
wondering if they will be the lucky recipient of a program
award at dinner tonight.
We'll update our camp news often so check in,
the best is yet to come.
