...Camp
Horizons... recently celebrated 25 years
of giving campers the summer of thier dreams.
Since its foundation in1979, the camp has
gone through many changes, but its ourpose
is still the same - to bring fun into lives
of the mentally handicapped. Twenty five
years later, the camp continues to make
happy memories for its campers. Today,
the camp is on Babcock Hill road in South
Windham with several cabins, an art and
crafts hut, sport courts, a stable full
of horses and, its recent addition, a heated
swimming pool. Camp counselors come from
all over the world to work there, making
it apparent that the camp has much of an
effect on its staff as it does on their
campers...
